My wife and I sailed with our son, who turned 2 on December 1, 2018, on the Carnival Magic’s December 2, 2018 sailing to Amber Cove, St. Thomas, San Juan, and Grand Turk. This review will give a synopsis of our experience.

We live in Coconut Creek, Florida, which is just north of Ft. Lauderdale. We arrived at the Port of Miami at just before 12:30 PM on December 2nd. Embarkation was a breeze and we were on the ship by 1:00 PM.

When we boarded the Carnival Magic, we went straight to Guy’s Barbecue, having read that the lines are very long on sea days. My wife and I loved the pulled beef while my son loved the mac and cheese. Unfortunately, this was the only time that we were able to enjoy Guy’s Barbecue on this cruise.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View

Cabin 6N

Great location, right near the first bank of elevators. The cabin has a couch that converts to a twin bed and 2 twin beds that convert to a king. The extra bathtub and sink came in handy. I would book this cabin again.
