I have cruised with Celebrity for years. So, like a lot of others, we are curious about Edge. We booked the second 3-nights promotional cruise and find it exceptional.

Yes, Celebrity pushed the concepts about “Infinity balcony” (LOVED it! Like having a private little sitting area), Magic Carpet, dining rooms, etc. What amaze me is the lack of mention of “overall” improvements, like “they finally listened to us”. Elevators are much bigger, got lights on the outside to tell us when they arrive, up or down. There are now signs for room numbers, odd/even in the elevator lobby. More drawer space (though less closet space). If you checked in electronically like with airplanes, there is no counter check-in (room key is waiting for you just outside your door). No one mentioned it, but there is this wonderful walking/running track with slopes (what an original concept). I am gluten free, and they have this little gluten free counter in the cafeteria for breads and desserts. I no longer have to ask for bread. Just need our own toaster. There is also this spaciousness. 3-floor atriums, lots of resting areas, one just does not feel like on a boat where every inch counts, but more like a luxury hotel.

Service, as usual, is excellent. The Blu restaurant is great. The dessert chef even made gluten free desserts - banana Forster and soufflé just for me. Yes, I was in Seventh Heaven.
