We booked this cruise because we had a discount coupon from a problem on a previous cruise that expired this month.

Let me start by saying that the onboarding experience was excellent. Carnival has streamlined this process to the point where it was a joy! We practically walked through the whole process, despite the fact that we were 20 minutes early for our booked check in.
