We have had many Celebrity cruises over the years. We had big expectations for the Edge. Unfortunately it did not live up to many of those expectations.
The shows are horrible. The entertainment not energetic. No rock and rollmusic or soft rock. The beds and pillows are very firm so if you prefer softer pillows bring yours from home. There are activities all geared to sell you something but disguisrd as educational. The specialty dining venues are booked months in advance. So do not wait to get on the ship to book those. The Casino is nicebut the host has no ability to comp anything other than drinks in the casino which we would normally expect in any casino. The cabins are nice. Emphasis on technology throughout the ship amd weird decor through the ship, the weirdest being a hallway with poor lighting and oddly placed metal sculptures.
