I can’t say this is the best cruise we have been on, we have done 8 cruises 4 princess cruises all from overseas ports until this one.The positive in booking this cruise was leaving and returning close to my home, embarkation at station pier Melbourne was so slow, the easiest way is to walk on., then there is a slow process of actually getting on the ship.

The weather turned cold wet windy with rough seas at night after the second day and conditions did not improve.

The Golden Princess is too old for this crossing and needs a big overhaul the ship smelt musty in the hallways carpet was always being dried and the cruise had too many days at sea consisting with of 8 out of 13.

Cabin BB

This cabin is in quite a good location, it is an old ship so cabin could do with a refurbish, too many mirrors! TV should be on the wall, otherwise it was neat and lean thank you to our cabin steward.

Port Reviews
