We have done multiple Carnival cruises and always been in awe and happy while on cruise. Being that the Vista was the newest in fleet, we expected to be in the same awe. Not the case. Lets start with layout. Vista is by far the most closed ship in fleet. The grand entrance and awe walking on deck 3, gone. The open walk ways, gone. All closed off or confined. Lido deck seemed smaller for such a large ship. Cabin Steward qnd dining waiter was great. The breakfast brunch, we waited over 25 minutes to get water. I had to stop a waiter to get served. Plays were subpar. The Liquid Lounge is small and most spots have horrible or blocked views. Was very disappointed in the overall cruise. We suppose to leave a cruise relaxed, but ended up leaving very disappointed. The Horizon is coming out and unfortunately it will be one that we will not be interested getting on.
