The beautiful Victory was just upgraded last January. It has the best kind of water slide - I slid 21 times. (The newer ships have slides that are too scary for me.) Sliding is best sitting up & leaning forward. (Walk carefully on the wet pool deck - it's very slippery.) Mini golf & ping pong were also fun.

I loved the blue & green atrium with glass elevators & the cabin upgrades. Dancing in Club Artic was SO much fun, especially when they played 70's & 80's music for 30 minutes Saturday night. Dining was great - Carnival matched us with two couples of similar ages. The food was wonderful and so was the service. Most people on board were very friendly.

The Blue Lagoon Island Beach Day is a great excursion if the weather is good. It's a beautiful private island with 5,000 palm trees. The boat ride to the island was pretty & fun, especially when our boat jumped a huge wake from the other boat. Dolphins walked backward on their tails, spun around & arched jumped together during their feeding right in front of us. We had a great time!

Cabin Review

Porthole

Cabin PT

Clean, roomy cabin. Upgraded like Carnival Breeze. Great shower & strong toilet. (Hot water runs out right before formal dinner when everyone showers.) The mattress from the ceiling was made up on the sofa. (I guess they thought a 56 year old shouldn't climb the ladder.) Loved the portholes.
