We took this cruise from Rome to Ft Lauderdale on Apr 3 to Apr 17, because it was a great price. One port, Genoa, was changed to Livorno, Italy because a bridge collapsed in Genoa. Another port, Tulu, was skipped due to high winds, which was disappointing but understandable. We have enjoyed at least 10 other Princess cruises and we felt that the dining service and food were not as good as on other princess ships. One night when lobster was served, our 8 table mates were waiting for the waiter to de-shell our lobsters. When we questioned the waiter, the answer was, we don't de-shell the lobster unless you ask. The buffet area food was the same as the dining area. The TV screens in the gym always have glare from the ceiling lights, making it very difficult to see the screen. One day, in the Fitness area, the air conditioning was not working, the Captain of the ship showed up to do his excess routine, when he heard the complaints among the customers, he left in no time.
