Embarkation was very slow, we were at the Port at 10am and the doors opened up shortly after, however, the screen staff were not there so we lined up for 30 minutes before any staff that could screen you arrived. Once we did start boarding ship, we were stuck on the gangway for another 15 minutes as they staff on board were not ready to scan our cards.

We were travelling with 8 friends, 6 of which had never cruised on Celebrity before. We became Elite status on our last cruise, however, our cards stated Select. This took trips to Guest Services to change, were we produced our paperwork to prove our status, however, our status was not confirmed until later on the cruise. Cabins were ready by 1pm. Our cabin 9056 and our friend's 9058 were opposite a crew door that constantly banged shut every few minutes, day and night. We complained, they adjusted the door but we could still hear the door, avoid 9056 & 9058. Food in the Blu restaurant was amazing, we were also allowed to order from main dining menu, so we did not miss our prime rib the first night and beef wellington and lobster tail on the last night. Our waiter, Imayan, Somalia Ricardo and bar waitress Jenny were wonderful.

Stopped at Key West, which is always a great day.

Cabin Review

Aqua Class

Cabin A2

Cabin clean but furnishings and sofa looking old. The shower grout between the tile was either missing or very dark looking. Cabin Stewart did his best but ship needs overhaul. Unfortunately, we were opposite a crew door and we had to complain about the constant door banging day and night, steer clear of 9056 and 9058.
