I am a former Cruise Staff and Social Host, who worked for two companies across three ships for four years in the 90's. My wife was an avid cruiser as well before we got married.

When looking at a line that best fit our style of cruising and the experience for which we were looking, we stumbled upon MSC Cruises. And, this is our third cruise in three years with MSC; we have a fourth booked with them for next New Year's as well.

In MSC Cruises, we have found gorgeous cruise ships (Divina & Seaside, so far), a Mediterranean approach to cruising, a warm family atmosphere with the crew, and ships that truly bring you closer to the sea.

Cabin Review

Aurea Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B3

Our stateroom was an Aurea Balcony Cabin, #9047, port side forward. You get off the lifts or stairs at cabin 9085 and walk forward. The cabin is gorgeous and decent sized. The couch and desk are in the first half of the cabin, the bed is by the doors to your extra large balcony. There is a USB port on the side of the bed by the balcony and two US and two Euro outlets at the desk. We had no trouble charging phones, cameras, kindles, etc. The bathroom was nice and our cabin steward, Nicolas, kept everything immaculate all week. The bathroom has a shower, body wash, and shampoo. There is also a bar to put your foot on in the shower for shaving and feet washing.
