My wife and I took our 3 children, ages 11, 13, 15 on the Oasis of the Seas. I had been on a number of ships, but not the really big ones and wanted to try the Oasis. My expectations were reasonable, but they were not only met, but far exceeded. Never once did we feel crowded -- which was very impressive for such a large ship. The various dining options were phenomenal. I did a lot of research beforehand and wasn't planning on doing any of the specialty dining -- but once there changed our minds. Wow..we were glad we did. Giovanni's was terrific. 150 Central Park was out of this world phenomenal, and Chops Steakhouse was solid. The service in the main dining room was second to none and by far the highlight of the trip. We sat in Patricio's section with Damien, Rahul, Kunal and Wissem. You could not find a more personable, good hearted, warm, welcoming staff with a great sense of humor. They were so good, that my kids insisted on attending the My Time formal dining even when my wife and I attended the specialty restaurant. They were welcomed with open arms, treated like royalty and shown the time of their lives. It's a real testament to this group that the highlight of the trip was the dining room staff!! And that says alot, considering you couldn't get my 11 year old off the flowrider, which he must have did over 100 times. Speaking of the flowrider, it was awesome. The flowrider staff could not have been friendlier, more helpful and good natured. Between the dining room staff and the sports deck staff, you really felt you were amongst family...which was incredibly impressive. There were so many different highlights on this ship and the staff seemed to love their jobs and genuinely care. If I had to give a downside...I would say the WindJammer Buffet isn't visually appealing or organized that well. The food there was just ok...but the presentation/layout was sloppy. But considering SO MANY other phenomenal dining options, snack options, bars, breakfast options, etc... this wasn't too big of a deal. Hopefully they'll fix this soon.

Overall, this was a great ship...with a great many really good options -- but what set this apart was the genuine, heartfelt service of the Dining Room staff and the Sports Entertainment Deck Staff. Royal Caribbean truly has some great people here that made our family feel loved and special. Well done!!
