My family and I (all 10 of us) boarded the Vista on Nov. 4th for a seven day cruise. I was anxious to see Carnivals new ship after reading some of the reviews I was not sure what to expect. I must say I did not find anything really to complain about like so many of the reviews I had read prior to boarding the ship. I found the ship to be very clean, comfortable and exciting. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The food in MDR was delicious. Actually everything that we ate on the ship was very good. JiJi’s Asian Kitchen was fabulous as was the 555 steak house. Farmer the band was entertaining and played the kind of country music that we like. My wife said that she thought the spa was a little small, I never went in there even though we had a spa balcony room (11226), the room was great, plenty of closet and drawer space, we enjoyed the balcony very much. The serenity deck is fantastic, lots of space and lounges, the sea day salad bar on the serenity deck is very nice. My only complaint I guess would be that disembarking seemed quite unorganized. Hopefully they will get that worked out. Overall this was as usual a very enjoyable cruise. We already have two more booked.
