The itinerary of this cruise was very good. Two stops I would omit would be Martinique and Trinidad. They were too "big" city for me. When I go to an island I like to experience an island, not a big commercial area.

The food on this cruise was terrible. Also, the coffee is made with a "syrup" not coffee grounds and it was not good. There were several complaints among passengers about this too. So if you are a lover of coffee you are forced to pay for ground coffee at the cafe. We were a party of 12 and several meals had to be sent back on several nights. We were on other Princess cruises and the food was very good, so this was a BIG disappointment. We met a couple that cruised Princess 26 times and agreed that the food on this ship was terrible.

The shows were very good. However the theater was way too small for the amount of passengers. We had to rush our dinner and omit having dessert in order to get a seat at the show. There were some nights that we could not get in at all. This was a common complaint in speaking with other passengers.

Cabin Review

Balcony

The cabin was fine. However, the shower was VERY small and difficult to shower in and we are not large people.

Port Reviews

Antigua

We took a taxi to the beach. It was absolutely fantastic.

Martinique

We got off the ship and wanted to do some shopping. There were some small market type huts with minimal variety in shopping. It was an hour and a half to town to shop so we decided to go back to the ship. The island was "big" city like and not what you want when you to go an island.

Barbados

The beach was amazingly beautiful. We had a great day.

Port of Spain (Trinidad)

We got off the ship and walked to town which was just a 10 minute walk. I felt like I was in New York City rather than a tropical island. The shops did not have many nice things and it was so difficult getting through crowds of people. We went back to the ship.

Aruba

We had a very nice day shopping at the port, which was close to the ship with very nice stores. We previously stayed on the island so we just had a nice day shopping. The island is very beautiful and worth exploring if you have never been there before.
