My husband, daughter, son in law, our 8 year old granddaughter and myself cruised from Miami to Key West, Cozumel, and back to Miami this year from Nov 1 thru Nov 5. The cruise itself was fun and enjoyable. There were some issues with some minor things- towels looking yellow instead of white, rusted toilet, beds uncomfortable, dining room service was good, but extremely slow getting food out. All entertainment was really good and my granddaughter really enjoyed the slides. It was the disenbarkment that was a nightmare. When we were all getting off the boat my husband and myself was rudely pulled out of line and we were told that my husband was being detained by customs and we were going to be escorted. We were so confused and didn’t have any idea what was going on. This lady that was screaming and pushing everyone out of the way to get us where she wanted us to go. She was screaming at me telling me I was to go outside and wait on my husband. Once we got to the point where we were going to be separated she pointed to another rude lady and told me to go “over there”. Once I got there this second lady told me I was in the wrong line and sent me back to the original lady and she began screaming at me and said “I TOLD YOU to go over there and to leave” I was trying to tell her I was trying to leave but I was sent back to her. After my husband was taken away from me I finally made it outside. Finally my husband game out and said that there was another person with his name that had a felony warrant out on him and they THOUGHT it was him. After having policemen surrounding my husband, finger prints, taking his picture, looking at his license, birth certificate they figured out he was the WRONG Person. This nightmare lasted over an hour. I was devastated and was scared to death not knowing where my husband was. I understand people have jobs, but what happen to the hospitality, professionalism, kindness with people? Carnival embarrassed not only us but themselves. This far from being over.... but I wanted to share this so you can be prepared if this happens to you.
