We chose this cruise because the departure port location was convenient and the itinerary looked nice(I saw a pic of Half Moon Cay and was sold). My family of 3, which included a 3 year old had all been looking forward to our very first cruise for months. The Pride did not disappoint in any way! The boarding process was quick and painless, the staff made us feel like royalty all day every day, the food was delicious from every place we tried, and we enjoyed all of the entertainment. We were initially nervous about it being and older ship, but we found it to be fancy and delightful in so many ways. Our balcony cabin was clean and suited our needs. The complimentary shampoo smelled amazing. Our 3 year old son LOVED our entire cruise experience, and still talks about it almost daily... his favorite parts were the Kid's Club and the dance parties. Our cruise director Neil was top notch!! Neil and all of our dining staff made our son feel so special, our little guy will never forget them! I will never understand how people get bored on this ship. There is truly something for everyone.

We did not do any excursions at the ports, just enjoyed the beaches and went with the flow. We snorkeled around at Grand Turk and found the under water life to be quite lovely right there off the ship. We ate up every second of the beautiful Half Moon Cay! It was by far our favorite, like swimming in a ginormous crystal clear salt water pool. Freeport was nice, but the least desired of the 3. We took a taxi to a beach approx. 20 mins away and it was nice, just didn't bring enough money or have enough time to thoroughly enjoy it. We did get all of our little take home treasures from Freeport, so that was fun.

We would all absolutely book this ship again!

Cabin Review

Cabin Aft- extended balcony

We spoiled ourselves with a balcony and were so glad we did. It worked perfectly when we laid down our son for an afternoon nap, we would lounge on the balcony and enjoy some private adult time! This balcony was a little larger than others and we loved being on the back of the ship. The views were spectacular!

Port Reviews

Grand Turk

We beached it for the day, enjoyed snorkeling right there off the ship! Chairs and umbrellas included for Carnival guests.

Half Moon Cay

Our favorite port! The water was PERFECT in every way... clear, warm, and tons of it! We rented a clam shell for $20 and it was very much worth it. There are tons of chairs for free but not much shade. Eating right there on the island was nice. We saw chickens walking around, which was fun. There was a nice splash pad right on the beach and a cool all wooden kids playground area tucked away in a secluded area that my 3 year old enjoyed while we sipped on pina coladas.

Freeport

We hopped into a taxi van which wasn't super cheap, so we ended up not taking enough money for other things at the private beach we drove to. We still enjoyed playing in the sand and swimming for a little while. We had to be back on ship by 1pm, so this didn't allow for as much time as the other ports. We did make time to purchase a few souveniers before boarding and I felt it was a good day!
