We chose this cruise because it sailed from Port Canaveral (only 1 1/4 hours from home) and its ports(Western Caribbean). We took our two adult children for a getaway without Grandkids for a relaxing time.

The ship was in good shape and our balcony rooms had ample space and storage. The service in the dining rooms was exceptional, some of the best we have ever had in the 25+ cruises we have done, and we have cruised with RCL, NCL, Princess, Carnival, and Celebrity. Our daughter practices a plant based Vegan diet and the service staff was more than accommodating to her dietary needs. We ate mainly in the American Icon Grill since we had My time dining. The wait staff always asked if we had any shows to attend in case there was a time crunch. Again they were very attentive to all of our needs and they went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied We also ate at 150 Central Park, which we believe is one of the finest Specialty restaurants available at sea. Again the service was exceptional and the head chef personally served our Daughter her Vegan meals which she was very impressed with!! The entertainment on the ship was ok . The comedians were good (all adult shows), the ice show was very good as well as the knock off game shows. The production of Cats while it may be for some people for us it was a bit of a sleeper! The singing and dancing were good but the story leaves a little bit to be desired and apparently we weren't the only ones that felt this way since half the audience didn't return after the intermission. The ports were good, although in Falmouth Jamaica the Adventure River tubing offered through the ship which we did was a little disorganized and the quality of the tubes was poor. Playa Mia in Cozumel is a very good deal, but I would recommend just getting the basic package and not the all inclusive since their pricing for food and beverages ($12 dollar beer buckets) is very reasonable. All in all this ship allows for great Family fun !!
