We have special dietary needs and the chef and servers were magnificent, creating a separate menu for lunch and dinner every day! Very tasty - some dishes even better than the standard offerings. The Aquavit Terrace is a huge success!

The whole crew were happy, helpful, and quick to respond to every inquiry or request. Our stateroom was returned to perfection each time we got back from an excursion. The ship was spotless, and everything worked as advertised. We highly recommend the Veranda Staterooms: our first morning cruising on the Danube was a magical moment, perched comfortably in our chairs on our sunny veranda, warm coffee in hand as we watched many different birds on the river. The self-service coffee/tea machine was a very pleasant surprise.

The shore excursions were exciting and informative, especially the full day to Cesky Krumlov and the half day tour to the Abbey of Gottweig The before dinner previews of the next day's itinerary were fun, often hilarious, and more than welcome. Read more
