First time we have been on a cruise with Celebrity we didn’t get that wow factor everyone said we would but over all it was very nice and we loved the ship the Silhouette nice and big plenty of room to get around never once did we feel crowded the captain was ok could have been a bit more interesting when on loud speaker at times as some others are
From start to finish the staff were great food was amazing our cabin was nice the room attended was polite and helpful we didn’t go to many shows but what we did see seemed ok we did however attend all of the cruise directors 10 know facts shows and they were really interesting think his name was Eddie Jenkins the Entertainment manager Sarah was really good with the crowd
Yes I think we would go on another Celebrity cruise in the future
When we booked this cabin we weren’t told of its Obtructions ( top of lifeboat winches ) from anyone and when we rang Celebrity to try and get moved up a floor they said yes that’s fine we can do this for you but that we would have to pay them over £300 each to do this well I politely told them where to go
But for the cabin itself it was very nice and clean big enough for the two of us with plenty of storage space
Southampton is really nice lots of things to see and do like the Shopping mall Resturants and some older parts of the place for local history to see
It was ok for a day to visit it has the usual bars and places to eat
We had a lovely time here we took a trip up on the cable car to get some lovely views and a hop on hop off bus to see around the island
Ok for Resturants and bars and a beach
We took a taxi to a nice beach after a little bus ride around some of the island
Spent some time on the beach had some food and drink it was ok
Took a little bus trip ho on hop off around the island for two hours ( mostly stuck In Traffic ) wouldn’t recommend that
Had a nice meal in one of their local restaurants that was very nice
Did some shopping for perfume got a very good deal so I was very happy
Visited the beer museum husband liked that but
Watched a world famous chef cook a heathy meal that was interesting ( there was a local Fete on the docks were we berthed )
