My husband & I cruised RCI in 2008 on Majesty. We LOVED it so much we always knew we would return. We live in FL & do frequent 'stay-cations' but save & spring for a big vaca every few years & chose to take them on their first cruise!! I spoke with a rep when booking & urged my desire for the most kid friendly cruise possible. I didn't want to have to spend my vaca apologizing for my kids being kids. (10 yr old twins & 6 yr old) She urged Mariner was the one for me.

CONS::: forced to purchase a drink package, was marketed an upgraded port that does not exist yet, smoking at the kids pool, inconvenient port timing, level of service in resolving my daughters seperate reservation number, drink package issue, broken coke cup, navigating the promenade at night, cost of excursions, quality of food in main dining, No pictures being taken!!

PROS::: very kid friendly. I feel bad for any singles who booked this ship not realizing it is marketed heavily to families traveling with kids. Server & room attendant was friendly & smiling all the time, very accomodating. M-F cruising is awesome!

Cabin Review

Spacious Ocean View

Cabin 4M

practical, clean, roomy. could use some more hooks & less closets

Port Reviews

Miami

easy boarding

Nassau

Not kid friendly. Lots of locals harassing you and junk souvenier shops selling all the same stuff at my local souvenier shops in FL.
