I ultimately chose this cruise due to it’s importance to the Carnival Repositioning of their fleet. It was also a unique sailing and a Carnival Journey Cruise. It helped that I had previous Carnival Cruise Friends already booked.
The only negative I can submit is the MDR Service. On this particular 9/16 sailing, the late seating was taking 2.5 hours from seating to leaving. Not sure why that was, but it was certainly consistent. There seemed to be a defect in communication between the Galley & the Dining Room.
The entertainment on board was fantastic, never a dull moment and plenty of variety for everyone.
Cabin Review
Interior
This is a 4 bed room which converts to a 2 or 1 king. It is small, but perfect for 1 person as I Cruise solo. It would be ok for 2 people who are seasoned cruisers.
Port Reviews
Aruba
Beautiful port, 2nd time I have visited. The city surrounding the port is a lovely walking adventure which is near the ship.
Grenada
Gorgeous island filled with history. Walked up the hill from the port to Fort George, amazing views and lush trees surround the entire walk.
Dominica
Beautiful island with incredible scenery just in the port alone. Excellent walking through the villages and towns. Definitely a must see island!
