We wanted to see Japan and this cruise appeared to tick the box.
Like most western passengers we too had a very disappointing cruise.
As Diamond members, we had express boarding. Over 2 hours we queued, Royal Carribean can't really be blamed for this. However in the high humidity, water should have been available.
Cabin was very good, should have stayed in it.
30 million residents, huge city, navigating is a challenge. Taxis are very cheap and if a few of you a good option. English is not widely used, best to get your to and from written for you.
Large city, great train network, be aware underground stations are huge, with shopping malls, best advice yellow routes get you outside.
Free shuttle to station, then train to Tokyo. We took the open top bus but this was poor. We were shown tall buildings bridges and the highlight. The road the imperial palace was on. Unfortunately one of group had mobility issues so we could not get to see more of Tokyo.
