Wanted a longer cruise outside the school holiday. Never been to the Canaries before. The ship was Beaty with a lot of decoration and art. Clean and good taken care of. Our incide cabin had everything we needed and a lot of places to store our things, perfectly located on deck nine between the two lifts. Our stateroom attendant Ida did a Great job and kept it clean and was so nice to us all the time. Had read so many reviews about the need of upgrade, but that was not my experience. Always chairs available outside and it was never difficult to swim in the three pools or find a place in one of the jacuzzi.

The food was very good. Specially impressed by the food in Windjammer that had a lot of choices. Also had very nice food in the MD and very good service thanks to Luise and Felix. Did take the Galley brunch and visit the kitchen and can understand how much work it is for the people in the kitchen and for the waiters to serve all the passengers. Also had some meals in chops grill and Giovanni as part of a prebooked 5dinner package.

The entertainment was overall very good with some extra memorable experiences as the ice-show, the Barricade boys, Perry Grant and Craig Halliday. Cuddly was a very good as entertainment manager.

Cabin 4V

The cabin was in a perfect location between the two lifts. Was only in the stateroom for changing and sleep. A lot of places to store all the luggage we had. The shower big enough with sliding doors. Always kept clean. Even had a full length sofa, kettle and Thea/ coffe.

Port Reviews

Southampton

Stayed in Southampton for two days. Booked a taxi from Windsor taxi from Heathow. The driver kept our luggage while we visit the castle for about two hours. In Southampton we visit the sea city museum very interesting showing a lot from the Titanic. We also visit the Tudor house. Dinner at the pub dancing man brewery and had afternoon tea at Grand cafe. Stayed at a new apartment hotel room2 Southampton. Had a wonderful time in Southampton.

Vigo

Nice walk up to the hilltop with a wonderful view. All the small chops was closed for siesta when we came back again but there is a lot chops in the Main Street we visited after a lunch on the chip.

Agadir

Nice tour with RCCL Half day museum & Berber market but the whole area is full of garbisch and I would not prefer to stay on a land holiday in Agadir. The beach seems to be lovely and there was not crowded.

Madeira (Funchal)

Been to Madeira on land tour several times. Love the island. Walked into the city center for some shopping.

La Coruna

Lovely city. The Cruise terminal in the city center. Had booked a two hourtrip with Hercules tours and this was a nice and informative tour. 4 stops to go out and walk around and take photos. Recommend
