This was out 2nd cruise with Avalon. The first was on the Senn River to Normandy. The crew and dinning staff were always fantastic. The excursions were always planned well with almost perfect guides. The food on board was awesome and perfect. What i might suggest is a rating on excursions that require a lot of walking. We took the Maggot Line excursion, and while we were fine, there were a few that had to cut the tour short. During the cruise, there was an issue with low water, however the staff and Captain kept us advised as we approached the area in question. It turned out that there was no need for a transfer as the Captain was able to get the craft thru the area in question without any inconvenience to the passengers, which is a big credit to the staff of Avalon. The entertainment was great, and what i thought was really good was the pre-dinner briefing by the Cruise Director who always did a fantastic job. Avalon always does the best!!!
Cabin was great, however the shower was a bit tight as I am 6-3, but I was able to make due. Cabin could use a 2nd chair, but i do not know where they would put it. We did have separate beds, so that took up more room.
Awesome place especially seeing the armed soldiers.
