We were celebrating our honeymoon, as we boarded the ship the staff came across as rude and judgemental. After trying to ask for help to locate where we needed to go we had to ask 3 people, one less helpful than the other. Since we have heard only good things about cruise lines such as Royal Caribbean, we decided to give MSC a chance, what a mistake. The food was disppointing, breakfast was okay, lunch was the same thing everyday and dinner was a mix of leftovers and an attempt to cook! DO NOT purchase the laundry package! We made that mistake. Something so simple ended up costing us a day we should have spent touring and sightseeing, because we had to deal with the laundry service. They decided to shrink and discolour our clothes (value $500 euros). We went to reception letting them know. Only for them to say we’ll send someone to your cabin to solve the issue. We waited an hour for someone to come and nothing. So we called reception and they stated they would send someone right away. And we waited another 30 minutes. After arriving to our cabin he said it can be fixed. We were both confused because once something has been shrunk or discoloured there is no fixing that. He took the clothes and said give me one hour. The hour came and went and no sign of our clothes. Another phone call was placed and our clothes were finally then returned. All they did was refold our clothes. Needless to say nothing was resolved, so back to the reception desk we went. Again they said they couldn’t help us that we had to call Customer Service when we got back home from the trip. Which I did and they are only giving us back $150 u.s dollars with the purchase of the laundry package in that total. By far the worst trip experience we have had. If you read this save your money or spend a little more and go with Royal Caribbean! Thank you for ruining our honeymoon MSC!
