I have previously cruised with Tui, on this ship and a sister ship. The quality of the food has gone down hill to the point of being very average now. The Italian restaurant was a choice of three menus that just got rotated. The main restaurant choice was poor and didn't arrive as described too often. Peach Melba came out as tinned peach slices and ice cream. Truffle oil came out as olive oil. Cream came out as custard. Mature Balsamic Vinegar came out as straight Balsamic that had sugar added. Vegetable Tatin came out as onions and sweet peppers.... The list goes on.
The ship shows its age badly. Broken doors on the wardrobe, scratched tops to the dressers, rust holes in the edge of the balcony, wet rot on deck boards, trip hazards on deck drains, scratched hand rails on stairs. Even the seals were falling out on the glass on the balcony.
The staff, ( lots less than last year ), were great and tried really hard but we're on a hiding to nothing. Short staffing just doesn't work!
Old and showed it, but adequate.
