After almost a month of submitting our reviews/survey, we're still waiting to hear from Celebrity Corporate office about our horrendous experiences during this cruise.

We chose the Baltic, St. Petersburg & Scandinavia cruise as a way to see these countries & we always had an enjoyable experience with Celebrity Cruise line.

The 1st. day started with an extremely FILTHY cabin, a dinner table mate who announced she had bronchitis & not on meds & it went downhill from there. After she announced her sickness, we told the Maitre'd about our table mate & asked him to move us to another table. Sadly, no tables were available & our 2 choices were: open dining @ 8:30/9:00 or the buffet - Oceanview Cafe. We stayed @ the table & 4 days later my husband bore the brunt of her sickness by getting sick himself. He saw the ship's doctor twice & he stayed in the cabin because he didn't want to contaminate other passengers. I brought him his meals. & whatever else he needed. He missed all the ports except for Copenhagen. There were other people who were coughing, sneezing & were sick who went on the tours. The majority of them announced that they pd. for this cruise & were going on the excursions & didn't care about being sick or passing it onto other passengers.

Concierge Class 2

Cabin C2

After looking @ the dirty cabin, I immediately went to Guest Relations to complain about the filthy cabin. Here's a description of the filthy cabin: dried oj pulp on the bathroom glasses, pubic hairs on the the bathroom counter, the floor, the toilet, in the shower, sink & storage drawers, beard stubble on the desk counter, lipstick stain on the wet bar glasses, a sticky white film on the champagne glasses, red spot on the duvet cover, black spots on the sheets & the towels & washcloths were like rags. Mark, Ass't. Chief housekeeper, did come to the room & apologize for the filthy conditions. A flower arrangement was sent to us as an apology.

For all of the issues on this horrendous cruise, in fairness, we were given a certificate to use on a future cruise but what if we don't go on a future cruise? No apology was ever given to us, except for Mark, ass't. chief housekeeper.

Port Reviews

Copenhagen

Copenhagen is a lovely city & the residents our friendly. Our tour guide, Stephan, knew little about the city because he wasn't a citizen. Fortunately, the coach driver was informative & often took the mike from Stephan to explain about the city & the sights, etc. we drove by Rodan's "Thinker" & after we passed by the Stephan said, " on your right is "The Thinker". Oh we already passed it." He was not a very good tour guide.

The "Little Mermaid" statue is smaller than one thinks. The area was crowded with tour buses & their passengers.
