We wish this cruise was longer than a wk. We took this cruise to tie into a Celebrity Eclipse cruise from Amsterdam (that's another review). Our Avalon cabin was # 309. This was our 1st time on a small ship (# of passengers) & enjoyed the uncrowded dining room, lounges & gangway.

The crew was phenomenal, from our cabin attendant, front desk mgr., the wine sommeliers to our dining room staff, especially Florin who was always friendly, smiling & offering suggestions if we weren't sure what to order for dinner. Christine, Cruise Director, was smiling, pleasant & helpful. The excursions was interesting & informative. The Hotel Mgr, I forget his name, always had a smile on his face, a friendly hello & was quite helpful, esp. since Delta/Air France lost our luggage for 5 days.

The food was good & served @ the right temperature. There was a nice selection of food with one afternoon high tea & a daily early risers breakfast. Happy hr. was a way to relax after a busy day. Drinks were 1/2 price & were as good as when they were full price. We never had to ask for beverage refills that were served @ lunch & dinner (wine, beer, soft drinks). The executive chef would always go into town to purchase baked goods from the local bakeries & the bread was excellent. The chef was always available for questions or suggestions & was truly interested in the passengers.
