If you choose or are given this cabin (guarantee) be prepared to use earplugs for a restfull night. This cabin is directly opposite the aft stairwell/elevators. The elevator arrival chimes are so loud 24hrs the chimes from the Lido deck above and Empress deck below can be heard clearly.

This was reported to guest services who contacted housekeeping to have the fire doors closed at night. Unfortunately communication between the two wasn't the best, forcing us to call and attend guest services numerous times. There is often a noise like thunder coming from the Lido directly above. We couldn't work out what this was exactly.

Apparently this ship was refurbished in 2017. I doubt very much this included our cabin. It looked very tired, the sofa was broken meaning the drawers wouldn't close fully, the mirror in the bathroom was tarnished and the balcony door had to be pulled firmly or slammed to stop the wind whistling through(apologies to our neighbours).
