I chose this cruise because it was 8 days out of Charleston, and I like Ecstasy. I live in Northern Virginia and don't mind the drive to Charleston for a cruise as long as 8 days. It would be much simpler to drive to Baltimore, but I just don't like Pride as much as I do Ecstasy.
When I saw the lines I thought boarding would be a problem, but nope, things moved very quickly and politely. Same can be said for debark.
I ate several breakfasts and lunches at the lido buffet. For me, the breakfast offerings are so varied you just can't go wrong - cereal, fruit and yogurt one day, bread and cold cuts another, breakfast burrito or omelette or pancakes another time. For lunch
