Chose this cruise for the itinerary, in particular the visit to Bermuda. Unfortunately, the Bermuda sojourn was cancelled due to hurricane Florence but was substituted with visits to Portland Maine and St John's New Brunswick. The ship with 645 guests was the smallest we have cruised on by far but worries about space and amenities ranges were quickly dismissed.. Public spaces, gym, pool area etc were all sufficiently spacious for demand and the ship felt "spacious" throughout. Embarkation and disembarkation were efficient, stress free and speedy which was very different to most previous cruises we have taken. Additionally, two tendering days were handled efficiently by the crew to provide a faultless, efficient and comfortable service. Levels of service in every respect were exemplary from an excellent crew - it was very obvious that the ship had an excellent crew to guest ratio.

Guest services was manned by highly efficient, capable and courteous staff 24 hours a day and on each of several visits made there were no queues whatsoever - never had this before on 23 previous cruises! Questions and queries were always dealt with reassuring words of advice and information which certainly left one feeling satisfied with the service received.

The gym was very well furnished with an excellent range of technogym equipment which allowed us to train all body parts effectively. Additionally, treadmill and stepping equipment was always available with no waiting on all of our numerous visits although the fairly high age profile of guests on board might be a factor here! Gym staff were excellent in terms of support and advice and was the best experience we have received in a gym to date.
