Sail Date: Sep 2018

The common themes across many MSC reviews couldn't be more accurate. We sailed the Magnifica in September 2018 on the North Sea visiting England, Scotland, Germany, France and Amsterdam.

The common themes that are absolutely true - the European crowd (vast majority of passengers) is generally rude, loud and obnoxious. The food, especially on the buffet, varies between bland and tasteless and atrocious - plus, it never changes. It's generally the same food every day. There are times during the day when the only food available is Pizza and it's average at best. There is NOTHING other then coffee and drinks available for purchase at the bars located throughout the ship - no pastries or snacks - nothing. We've sailed NCL,Royal and Carnival and there are ALWAYS premium snacks available for purchase.Options at the main restaurants were extremely limited, and the food was "cruise ship average" at BEST.

The nightly "entertainment" was horrific, and put on by a talent-less group of performers. We walked out on multiple shows, as it was hard to watch. The cabin and cabin service were fine - no issues there.
