Sail Date: Aug 2018
Cabin: Ultra Spacious Ocean View with Large Balcony

We chose Symphony of the Seas because it was a brand new ship and we wanted to give the children the opportunity to experience a cruise which could offer so many on-board experiences.

We were a little apprehensive prior to sailing as some of the reviews we read had been negative, however, we should not have worried. The ship was beautiful - the service was second to none and we had an absolutely amazing holiday.

We sailed from Civitavecchia on 23rd August and the check-in process was incredibly quick and smooth. We are on the ship by about 11am and were able to explore everything and try out some of the activities within hours of boarding. The ship was quiet as a lot of guests were on shore doing Rome excursions.

Cabin Review

Ultra Spacious Ocean View with Large Balcony

Cabin 1A

Lovely cabin - very spacious indeed with an extremely comfortable king size bed; sofa bed; separate sleeping compartment with bunk beds for kids. The shower was excellent in the bathroom. The balcony was a good size and had a lovely ocean-view. Our cabin steward looked after us very well and was such a nice guy - making lots of towel animals for our youngest daughter so that she could try and copy the creations - she loved it!
