Embark and Disembark all went smoothly, staff very friendly, ship was clean, but I don't think I am cut out for big boat cruising. We grew tired of the constant push for additional revenue - photographers looking for pics to sell, sales pitches to sign up for another cruise, gambling packages, discounted watches, etc. Group of 5 for boat sponsored excursions were cost prohibitive - we booked our own shore events - much cheaper and smaller groups.

The food was good and consistent, but not exceptional. The selection was great, though and we could get something different every day if we wanted. We paid for an upgraded meal at Le Bistro, but could not see any difference quality-wise with what was included with the freestyle options.

The internet is woefully inadequate, but I don't have experience with other cruise lines, so it may be par for the industry.

Cabin Review

Mini-Suite with Balcony

10th floor - Cabin small - lots of storage though and I cant imagine going on a cruise without a balcony - seems pointless otherwise. Shower huge, but didn't drain well. Hair dryer useless. Not enough charging ports - we were always fighting over them. The pull out bed for a third person is so uncomfortable - ok for kids, but not an adult.

Port Reviews

Florence (Livorno)

I ordered the tickets in advance, but sometimes the private tour has them available too.

Palma de Mallorca (Majorca)

Cruise ship transport into town expensive for 2 or more at $15 each - walk out to get a taxi - cheaper, faster and takes you where you want to go.
