I will start by saying the Meraviglia is just a stunning ship. So modern and beautiful, and she has so many spaces I adore such as the indoor pool and the galleria. I have a very unlikely hope that MSC will sell her to another line so we can cruise her again! As sadly, this was our first and will be our last MSC cruise.

First I will address the positives. As mentioned, the ship is 5 star amazing. Our cabin, a standard inside, was much bigger than insides on other cruise lines. The floor space was huge! Unfortunately the storage space was terrible. I'm sure they could have made more of that floor space- a sofa with drawers would have been perfect.

We loved the pools both indoors and out. There are lots of hot tubs, although sadly some were always broken. We loved the galleria and the chocolate shop! Boarding in Palermo was a breeze, although I suspect that was because so few people board there.

Cabin Review

Fantastica Inside Stateroom

Huge cabin for an inside- enough floor space at the end of the bed to lie down straight! Bed very comfy and bathroom good. Sadly storage the worst out of any ship we've sailed on. One wardrobe with 2 small drawers- that's it. No English TV channels unless you count the promotional ship ones.

Port Reviews

Genoa

Visited the aquarium which was crazy busy

Barcelona

Did the Sagrada Familia and Aquarium as it was our 2nd time here.

Malta (Valletta)

Just walked around by ourselves, very nice city.

Palermo (Sicily)

Boarded in this port- very chaotic roads!
