Perhaps the significant thing is that there is something for everyone young or old. No-one needs to suffer boredom. There were outside activities on the top with food available for those who did not want to stir and there were games on the side decks. Seating or lounging was available everywhere and although the ship was extremely busy we were never stuck for room. We used the Trellis Dining Room for our evening meals much to the delight of the children who are not used to waiter service. My wife and I being the grandparents and a little elderly did not make use of the gym facilities but the children and their mother did along with the spa and swimming pool. One of the young girls used the running track as well she felt she had been putting on excessive weight with all the sumptuous food.
As we are all nature lovers the highlight for us however was actually ashore in Juneau where we came across a family of black bears fishing for sockeye salmon in a creek.
Marvellous!
Comfortable beds adequate facilities and a window view that is all we needed.
