My retired parents decided to take a cruise to Alaska and took myself and my son (16 years old) and my daughter (8 years old) along with them. I have cruise on other cruise lines in the past, but this was my first time on Princess.

No matter where we went, we were always greeted with a smile. The staff are very eager to impress and ensure you have an amazing vacation.

My daughter and I stayed in E404, which is an obstructed view stateroom on the Emerald Deck (8). The room is perfect for two people. Lots of space and a beautiful large window with minimal view obstruction. If you want to look all the way forward or aft, you have an issue, but looking straight out is fine. The room was always clean and our cabin steward, Roderick, took care of everything before I even asked for it.

Cabin Review

Oceanview (obstructed view)

Cabin OV

This cabin is amazing! It is an obstructed view, with very little obstruction. It is the perfect size for two people, with a bathroom, walk-in closet, and bedroom area. There is lots of storage and the beds are very comfortable. It is located in a quite hallway close the elevators and stairs. It's also not to far from the laundromat. I would definitely book this room for a future cruise, especially for colder locations like Alaska where you won't get the use of the balcony.
