We chose a cruise because the idea of unpacking once and seeing 7 different places was appealing. We were also looking for relaxation and the cruise was certainly that. We chose Avalon Imagery II particularly because of the cabin configuration that allowed for a spacious bathroom comparably and a room that could become your balcony with the opening up of the wall of glass doors.

The food was delicious and plentiful and the service was outstanding but we especially enjoyed the organized, helpful and lots of fun Cruise Director! We learned so much on each excursion and enjoyed seeing the sights. The only drawback for us was when there was a coach ride involved that was more than an hour we would skipped that excursion. But even then we had a relaxing time on the ship sunning on the deck. The other surprising thing we enjoyed was the smallness of the ship so that we were able to meet and get to know most of the 60 couples onboard.

We will definitely cruise again with Avalon!
