We’ve always wanted to go back on a river cruise and Viking Cruise Line had the best schedule and price for us. And true to the saying, you get what you pay for, the Viking line exceeded all expectations. From our arrival until the very end, we were treated well. Everything in our room was top-notch and all the tours were very well run. the crew, without fail, were courteous, helpful, informative and cheerful. The Vidal was very quiet running. The only time sound was heard was when we went through the locks.

The staff was always prepared for whatever the day the weather brought even when rainy and unpleasant.

I have a gluten intolerance but found delicious and appetizing food, with choices, waiting for me at every meal. Dinner and breakfast always a included wonder bread choices, which is not easy for someone with Celiac Disease. The waiters were all aware of my problem and by breakfast on day three all knew to bring me gluten free bread products.

Cabin Review

Veranda Stateroom

Very clean and surprisingly spacious for an boat cabin.
