My mom likes to take her 3 "girls" (all in our 50's) on a trip each summer. This time she picked a doozy.
We did the 7 night Danube Waltz with the 4 night pre-cruise extension (Munich and Salzburg). The hotels were well located, and the tours were good. It was nice to have some time to get over jet lag before boarding.
Embarkation (for us) went smoothly - we pretty much just walked on, got our keys, and that was it. The ship was docked quite a way outside of Passau, and an afternoon shower meant those arriving late had to literally wade through a deep, muddy puddle to get to the ship. The ship moved in to an in town dock later that evening. That was very odd.
Well appointed, if small. Loved the French balcony near the waterline. Two chairs were near the window, but were difficult to access. They would be easier to maneuver if the beds were together. Ice was down the hall, water always supplied. The bath and shower were decent size. The toilet...well, it didn't have much bowl wash (ew).
