This cruise I chose to take one of my very good friends on for her first cruise. We did not explore Miami before getting on the ship. While the line looked long to go through the embarkation process the line moved quickly. The crew greeted us right as we got on the ship, as they did every time we returned to the ship. The ship was amazing! We soaked up everything it had to offer. We loved the water slides, the high ropes course, the rock wall, and the H2O club for movies and parties. Our entertainment was great as well. We attended the Howl at the Moon piano bar twice on our trip, we enjoyed watching the Burn the Floor cast whenever we could, and The Millon Dollar Quartet. We also did the Escape room which was fun and well put together. We did not try out the spa, but seem to have plenty of options and pricing available. We wish we would've had more time to experience this amenity. Our dining experience did not start out the best but ended perfect. We had slow service in the taste dining room, and OK food in the saver dining room. However, we had an amazing experience in the Tropicana room. Our waiter, Froilan and assistant waitress, Ni Made made our experience in the dining room top notch. They got to know us as people, what our dining and beverage preferences were, and they always double check to make the food it was up to standard. Not to mention our service was quick and the food was hot. We also liked this dining room because of the live entertainment every night. Because I was with a first-time cruiser we got off at every port and had a shore excursion for every port with the exception of Belize. While we did not experience the beach at Costa Maya we did enjoy our shore excursion to the waterpark. We thought this was a great value where you could get waterslides and zip lines. I was a little disappointed at the beach experience in Belize. I was expecting white powdery sand and crystal clear water but the beach had lots of shells and the water was murky. We enjoyed the shopping and food at the port and laid on the beach. In Honduras we had a wonderful experience, our shore excursion was Tabiana beach and snorkel. The beach was what I was expecting, clear waters and powdery sand with beach chairs included. The buffet of food that was included was great as well. The snorkeling was the best that I have done before, our guide was knowledgeable and pointed out stingrays, turtles, and several different types of fish. The only thing that I did not like about this excursion was all of the sales people that walked up and down the beach. In Cozumel Mexico we did a dolphin all inclusive at Dolphinaris. This excursion provided us 40 minutes in the water with the dolphins, being able to kiss hug and swim with them. They had two options of included food, Mexican and American food. This excursion also included all drinks including alcohol. The excursion included extra time to utilize the paddleboards, kayaks, and snorkeling equipment. We really enjoyed this excursion and would be happy to do it again. On our cruise we did not travel with children, but we enjoyed ourselves as adults. I think there would be another option of things to do for kids. I would definitely do this again, we had a great time!

Cabin Review

Family Inside Stateroom

Cabin I1

Our cabin was clean however, it was a little small. due to all the activities on the ship we did not spend much time in our cabin. There was just enough room for two people's clothes in the room, I would have liked a little bit more storage space. We did have a enough room for two girls to get ready for dinner every night though. It suited our needs for this trip.

Port Reviews

Harvest Caye

Harvest Caye was somewhat of a letdown for me. I was expecting typical Caribbean Beaches with clear water and powdery sand. When we got there the beach had lots of shells and the water was rather murky. There was also a purple flag up meaning dangerous marine life, my friend was stung by a jellyfish and apparently so were several others. The pool was crowded after the purple flag was raised. We did enjoy all the shopping options and food. I like that the beach was private and that beach chairs and umbrellas were not an additional charge. Overall we had a good day just spending time at the beach.
