Sail Date: Jul 2018

I chose this cruise because it was the only one I could find that went all the way up the coast of Norway, through the fjords.

Highlights: Bergen (Embarkation Port); Geiranger with Trollstigen Pass Excursion; Calm water in the fjords; Crossing the Arctic Circle; Visiting the North Cape (one of the northernmost point son the European continent); Great hiking trails in every port. The 5:00pm talks by the expedition team were quite good, but you had to sit through everything delivered in three languages. The cabins were nice, as was the free wi-fi.

Disappointments:

Cabin Review

Cabin N

Nice - comfortable beds and pillows - good air conditioning or heat. Lots of room to store your belongings.

Port Reviews

Molde

Definitely select Geiranger with Trollstigen Pass. The views and tourist places we visited were outstanding and the dinner in Molde was very good.

Honningsvag (North Cape)

Really fun to go to the North Cape - one of the northernmost points on the European continent. It has a lovely visitor's center.
