Overall, this was a good beach cruise with stops at Princess Cays, St. Thomas, and St. Maarten, all of which have nice beaches with good access.
Embarkation/disembarkation: These were the easiest I have ever experienced! Port Everglades and Princess Cruises have this routine down.
Ship: Caribbean Princess was recently upgraded, but some areas are already showing gentle wear. Fabrics in high use spaces were already showing use, and there were already some dings on the walls of our cabin. The door locks were upgraded on our trip to be tap entry instead of key slot entry in preparation for the ship going Medallion Class. I hate that we missed out on the Medallion Class experience. Otherwise, the environment on the ship is very nice. A variety of artwork is displayed throughout the ship, and the decor of different areas is matched to the theme of the area.
This cabin has an angled balcony that is a little larger than others in the balcony class. I am not sure if it is a BD or another letter category, but, as an aft cabin, it is in a lower cost category than those at mid-ship. Because it is at the end of the hall and directly in front of two of the larger suites on deck 12, it is very quiet. It is about as far away from the elevators and stairs as you can get, and it is at the opposite end of the ship from the forward spaces (spa, theatre, etc.), so I don't suggest it for travelers who have trouble walking.
