Cabin: Aft-Facing Mini-Suite with Balcony

This was a "bucket list" trip for us and we did 5 days pre-cruise in Alaska prior to boarding the Jewel in Seward. We are late 40's, early 50's and were considerably younger than most couples, as was expected.

Embarkation was great, and the staff at Seward port got us moving quickly and efficiently to the ship.

Our cabin 11150 was an Aft Mini-Suite and we loved it beyond measure. Being on an aft upper deck offers some inconveniences if you do not like to walk to everywhere - We like it because it is quiet and removed from all of the crowded areas.

Aft-Facing Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin M1

Amazing cabin, perfect location for us- Away from everyone and quiet.

A bit of noise in early morning from Deck 12, we knew about it and barely noticed

Corner balcony, larger than a regular aft balcony

Roomy cabin, but I personally did not like having a tub instead of shower. Great storage!

Port Reviews

Juneau

If you want to get harassed by jewelry proprietors as you make your way down the sidewalk, you are going to LOVE Juneau! I have shopped Mexico border towns and Jamaican markets in Ochos Rios... Juneau takes it to the next level of hell - Enjoy!

Vancouver

We chose to spend 2 days on Granville Island post cruise. This is a really pretty place with a fabulous Public Market full of produce, meats, baked goods, prepared food and tons more. We enjoyed our time here and would recommend
