This is a great trip! We were first time cruise takers and the Golden Princess cruise from Anchorage to Vancouver made an awesome first impression on us. The ship is clean, well run, and the staff is professional, courteous, friendly and extremely helpful. The sights of Hubbard Glacier and Glacier Bay are awesome!! The three ports of call (Skagway, Juneau, and Ketchikan) were fun and full of exciting and fun-filled shore excursions. We highly recommend this cruise!!! We also highly recommend that you stay in a room with a balcony. The first two days of the cruise are spent at sea viewing glaciers (Hubbard Glacier on day #1 and Glacier Bay on day #2). Being able to relax on your own deck and watch the glaciers is very enjoyable. Also, since the ship travels in an interior passage and not in the open waters, there is land on both sides of the cruise for you to scan with binoculars for the entire trip. The Alaskan cruise is very calm as there are no rough seas. Just do it and book an Alaksan cruise. You won't regret it!
