We were very lucky as to weather, wonderful the whole trip. Yes, some days of course were a bit cold and had some drizzle-but not bad for the area. Embarking and debarking were better than we've had before. However, we watched the first night's show on TV and got an overview-that was enough-we didn't go to any shows. Did enjoy the dinner theater. Hey, let's face it, food is important on a cruise. It was OK, not great. Kind of boring actually, and lunch seemed to repeat. Didn't like layout-both sides aren't necessarily the same, so have to walk all the way around to see what's there. Missed the stress and singing for Washee Washee. But there were real sinks available. Liked the room and layout. Spash Academy gets a thumbs up and the workers there were more personable than the rest of the crew we had contact with. Cagney's was outstanding as always. We booked shore excursions at each port through NCL and were satisfied with all of them. Guides were knowledgeable and spoke clear English. Seeing a review on apparently the cruise just before this one, although there were soccer fans, they weren't obnoxious. Smoking was only in designated areas, and there wasn't much in the smoking areas of the casino-in fact ash trays were difficult to locate there. Outside in smoking areas-rarely more than two people at a time. And never saw smoking in non smoking area.

Port Reviews

Copenhagen

We spend a couple of days before the cruise in Copenhagen and took tours via Viator. Day we got back to port, we spent the night at Clarion Airport Hotel and left the next day. Enjoyed the tours and recommend the hotel. Stayed at the Imperial before the cruise.
