we chose this cruise because it went from southampton to which we could drive and we qualified for free parking, also there was only stop on the itinerary that we has visited before. the ship also looked very good.

the ship was very comfortable plenty of seating areas and in general the staff were very helpful. that is the best i can say. the cabin steward was not one of the best. the food in the buffet had plenty of selection it was just badly cooked and in general tasteless. the dining room in the evening was a complete disaster. the staff were not well trained in table service and to plonk a large bottle of water on the table was a no no...the menu's were awful and badly cooked, i suspect the problem is cheap buying and bad kitchen abilities. hard to believe the man in charge of the restaurants is british. we did complain every evening, but no changes were made.

the entertainment was abismal. they need to invest in professional entertainers and pay them accordingly. we went twice to the theatre which is beautiful and left early each time.
