Our cruise began and ended with easily the smoothest, quickest, and friendliest embarkation and disembarkation we've ever experienced. The Legend is a clean, lovely ship with an easy layout. Food was plentiful, but often less than attractively presented. Dining staff were efficient, but disinterested. Stage shows were entertaining and well-done; comedians were only so-so. We loved the unusual layout of our extended balcony cabin, but were unimpressed with our inattentive steward. The spa provided a relaxing pedicure; the adjacent gym featured a variety of equipment and an amazing view over the bow. Don't miss the uniquely charming "Enchanted Forest" interior promenade. Scenery was absolutely breathtaking: we enjoyed the ship excursion on the White Pass Railway in Skagway, but found the town itself a mere tourist trap; we were thrilled with Whale Watching in Juneau with Alaska Galore Tours; flew magestic Misty Fjords with Taquan Air in Ketchikan; and toured historical Victoria with Surfside Tours. All in all this was an excellent cruse--we made memories that will last a lifetime!

We particularly enjoyed the unusually spacious layout of our extended balcony room.
