Going to Cuba has been at the top of my bucket list. I took the air-conditioned bus tour of Havana and found it fascinating. I am66 and was accompanied by 2 adult daughters, son-in-law and 2 grandsons ages 10 and 12.
I found the RC check-in chaotic and there was only 1 person trying to direct the throngs of passengers attempting to check-in. My grandsons did not participate in youth activities because the mother of the 11-year-old did not feel comfortable allowing him to socialize with older teens. Live entertainment and a better selection of movies are needed. Patricio, cruise director suggested on video that we use our phones to video the napkin folding demo. However, the demonstrator said they we could not video him.
Dion Williams was our room attendant and he did an excellent job. I know we left the room a mess but it was always well done when we returned to our cabins.
The room was very small, too small for 2 adults and a child. I'll never get an interior room again. There was not enough room to get dressed. We had to take turns. The bathroom had no ventilation. It was impossible to dress in the bathroom after taking a shower because it was sweltering.
I went out to shop for jewelry and souvenirs. We were told that there was a 55.00 charge to go to the beach so we went back to the ship.
