Sail Date: Jun 2018
Cabin: Junior Suite

We (hubby and I, plus 2 friends who had never cruised before) were traveling from Australia to USA for 4 weeks vacation, and the timing of this cruise was perfect. We booked it in June 2017.

Embarkation was a breeze. DH and I are Emerald and were booked in a JS. Our friends booked a regular balcony room but they were allowed to board with us in the Suite line which was fabulous.

Dining - We all had the ultimate Dining package and were very impressed. We dined at 150 Central Park twice, it was by far our favourite restaurant on-board. We also dined at Chops Grille (twice), Giovanni's and Sabor. DH and I ate at Coastal Kitchen one night and found that to be our least favourite meal on the ship.

Cabin Review

Junior Suite

Cabin J2

Great cabin. Heaps of storage, very comfortable bed and a nice size balcony. We couldn't have been happier with our cabin.

Port Reviews

Costa Maya

We went to Jaime's at Blue Reef. Caught a cab there from outside the port, only $2 pp. It wasn't what we were expecting. Jaime's is just one place in a line of bars selling food and hiring out chairs/lounges for the afternoon. There were a lot of people walking up and down the beach trying to sell us stuff all afternoon. Costa Maya seemed to have a seaweed problem, the stench was awful. The food at Jaime's was just okay.

Roatan

We got a cab to West End and looked around the shops (not a lot of shops there) had a couple of drinks and some lunch. Would probably look at doing a tour if we went back there.

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

we didn't do anything in Fort Lauderdale and didn't see anything other than the port. We arrived by cab the morning of the cruise and were picked up by a friend immediately on disembarking.
