Having already done the Danube and Rhone, decided to do the Rhein and maybe more later. We had previously visited Koeln, Heidelberg, Strasbourg, Rudesheim, and Amsterdam on land visits, so not having to pack and unpack at each visit was an advantage. We traveled with sister and brother-in-law, so being able to share this visit with them was great. We also met really nice folks on board. Fellow Hawaiians, and Brits and other Americans. I still keep in touch with our new friends from Sheffield. Dining was excellent. Almost bottomless wine glasses was a plus. Service for meals was superb, wonderful and friendly staff. Being able to chat with them was enjoyable and u=interesting to note their various background. German oompah entertainment was really fun, as ist brought back memories of past visits. I especially enjoyed Strasbourg and Koeln, history, architecture, and the sun. the tour guides at each port of call were excellent, with good knowledge of each place we visited, also excellent English. Our cabin was a bit smallish but comfortable. The layout of the ship proved comfortable, with the bar and dining areas close-by. Use of wheel chair provided by the Ingvi for my sister enable her to see things instead of staying onboard.
